Screened, not surveilled
Clients want to know the person they hire will actually deliver. Most marketplaces answer that by hoarding identity documents. We answer it by testing the things that predict good work: proven craft, clear communication and professional conduct under pressure.
Craft evidence
Applicants submit their category, skills, portfolio links they own, a written account of how they scope and revise work, and a real scenario answer. Copy-paste applicants do not get through this step.
Professional conduct check
A 8-question check on escrow, deadlines, scope changes, disputes and off-platform payment requests. 80% is the pass mark, with one retry after a cooling-off period.
Provisional period
Approval is not the finish line. New sellers start as Screened with a limited order load, and only earn the Verified Pro badge after 3 dispute-free completed orders.
What we never ask for
No passport or driving licence scan. No national insurance or tax number. No bank statements. Payout details are requested only when a freelancer claims their first payout, and never stored on their public profile.
Screening happens before anyone pays
Freelancers only choose a plan once they have passed. Nobody buys a subscription they cannot use, and nobody has to chase a refund.
